FHG Book Direct | FHG Online Booking & Payment Facility Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction
    1. Bookings made through our website, and our and your rights and obligations concerning such bookings, are governed by these terms and conditions.
    2. You will be asked to give your express agreement to these terms and conditions before you place a booking order on our website.
    3. Any statutory rights you may have as a customer are not affected by these terms and conditions.
    4. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. 

2. Interpretation

    1. In these terms and conditions:
    2. “we” means FHG Book Direct (and “us” and “our” and “website” and “online facility”) should be construed accordingly;
    3. “you” means our customer or prospective customer under these terms and conditions (and “your” should be construed accordingly);
    4. “booking” means a booking order in any or combination of room/s, venue/s, resorts, and or any other facilities of the hotel;
    5. “force majeure event” means an event that is, or a series of related events that are, beyond our reasonable control.
    6. “booking contract” means a booking order you made and you confirmed through the FHG Book Direct website that has been confirmed by us through email.
    7. “late cancellation” means a cancellation request that does not conform with our Cancellation Policy or received beyond the deadline of at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.
    8. No-show refers to a hotel facility reservation where the confirmed customer or party fails to appear without providing the hotel a valid cancellation or change notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival or event.

3. Placing Your Booking Order

    1. The advertising of bookings on our website constitutes an “invitation to treat” rather than a contractual offer.
    2. No booking contract will come into force between you and us unless and until we accept your order following the procedure set out in Section 3.
    3. You must provide all requested information for us to process your booking order. We reserve the right to request additional information from you at any time to enable us to complete your order and/or to comply with government regulatory requirements. Acceptance of booking order is subject to availability of the services or products ordered. By placing a booking order, you confirm that the details you provided are true and correct in all respects. The system will display and or send confirmation page that confirms successful receipt of your order.
    4. All transactions made through this online facility shall be processed in accordance with Philippine standard time.
    5. To make a booking through our website, the following steps must be taken:[You must search availability. If the accommodation is available, proceed by entering booking specifications, required identification details, and add-ons. Review your entries carefully, then agree to FHG Book Direct Terms and Conditions (by ticking the box) and click Book Now button to proceed with the selected payment method. Payment methods available in PayPal are via PayPal wallet, via major debit or credit cards. Enter required payment details, review payment details carefully, and tick to agree to PayPal’s privacy policy as well as its terms and conditions. Upon successful payment, PayPal will issue a receipt for the payment made. Successful payment will trigger us to send Booking Confirmation right away through email that you need to present to the hotel during your arrival for reference and verification.]

4. Prices

    1. Our prices are quoted on our website.
    2. We will from time to time change the prices quoted on our website, but this will not affect contracts or bookings that have previously come into force.
    3. All amounts stated in these terms and conditions or on our website are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Breakdown of payments is presented on the website during check out before payment.

5. Payment Terms

    1. Payment of your order shall be made via Online Payment Method.
    2. Payments accepted are: PayPal wallet, and all major debit cards or credit cards supported by PayPal.
    3. You must pay the applicable prices for your bookings during the checkout payment process.

6. Booking Modification Policy

    1. In rare instances that you would like to change your booking in any way, you should contact us through this link to discuss your requested changes at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival and or date of the event. We reserve the right to accept or reject any changes you may request depending on availability, season, and other factors.
    2. In the case booking modification is approved, we will send you a notification through email within 24 hours after the approval.

7. Cancellation Policy

    1. We may cancel a booking contract due to force majeure events and or under situations beyond our control such as but not limited to calamity or natural disaster or state of emergency or any factor required by the government.
    2. You may cancel a booking contract through this link with advanced notification at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival, otherwise, the full amount paid equivalent to your first night shall be charged as Cancellation Fee.
    3. The 24 hours advance notification applies to succeeding nights in case your booking contract is more than one (1) night.

8. No-Show Policy

    1. No-show refers to a hotel room or venue reservation where the confirmed customer or party fails to appear without providing the hotel a cancellation or change notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival.
    2. No-Show charge is equal to one (1) night stay rate per room reserved per no-show occurrence.

9. Refund Policy

Refund policy for valid cancellation shall be in the form of the following where customer can choose preferred option to refund:

    1. Reschedule of Booking
    2. Issuance of e-Certificate or e-Voucher having the unused value (UV) of the amount paid, or
    3. Original payment method using 3rd party digital facility services.The Unused Net Value (UNV) may be refunded to the original payment method used in the transaction via Online Payment Facility. Refunds to this option (via credit/debit cards, e-wallets) usually takes 2-5 business days, however it can take up to 30 days depending on the card company involved.

      Note:The Unused Net Value (UNV) refers to the unused value less applicable fees (transaction fees, service fees, foreign exchange conversion fees), and other charges that may be collected by third (3rd) party electronic payment processor partner, less refund processing fee of ₱200.00 PHP.

10. Early Departure Policy

    1. Guests who check out at the hotel before their scheduled departure date are subject to an early departure fee of at least one (1) night.
    2. The excess (if any) is forfeited if the payment made was via a certificate or e-Voucher. Otherwise, FHGBD may issue an unconsumed certificate (UC) in the form of an e-Voucher that can be used one time only within six (6) months from the date of payment, otherwise forfeited. The use of UC or e-Voucher is subject to specific e-Voucher’s Terms and Conditions and only applicable to avail products and services offered by FHGBD through its website.

11. Privacy Policy

    1. By using our website, you accept and agree to be bound by our Online Data Privacy Policy for the purpose of availing of our services, and or administration of your account, and or processing of any transaction using your online account and or our website, and for other reasonable purposes which are related to your online account and our website. In addition, you also accept and agree to the collection and use of your personal information under our Online Data Privacy Policy. For details regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we may receive from you as visitor, user, and or customer who voluntarily visit our website and or place your booking orders and or inquiries, refer to our Online Data Privacy Policy page.

12. Waiver and Indemnity

    1. By using FHG Book Direct Online Facility, you agree to indemnify and hold FHG or FHG Book Direct, its directors, officers, employees, free and harmless from any and all liabilities, losses and damages in case of failure of the online ordering system due to reasons beyond our control such as but not limited to force majeure and/or fortuitous event or which may arise from your failure to timely notify us of the revocation, cancellation or changes.

13. Warranties and Representations

    1. You warrant and represent to us that:
    2. You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
    3. You have full authority, power, and capacity to agree to these terms and conditions; and
    4. All information that you provide to us in connection with your order is true, accurate, complete, current, and non-misleading.

14. General

    1. By using our Online Facility, you confirm that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions expressed herein and voluntarily agree to be bound thereby with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations.
    2. We reserve the right to revise and or supplement these Terms and Conditions at any time at our sole discretion, in which case the new version of the Terms Conditions will be updated on the FHG Book Direct website, and will automatically apply for all customers effective immediately.
